ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR STUDYING POWER ENGINEERING IN BELARUS
To study power engineering in Belarus, the admissions process is very easy to follow.
There are two degree levels for power engineering available at engineering universities in Belarus: bachelors and masters.
There are different admission requirements to study power engineering in Belarus.
A bachelor’s degree is offered for four years at technical universities in Belarus, and to be admitted to a bachelor’s degree, foreign nationals should have their secondary school certificate with them, and they should also hold a traveling passport because without a traveling passport, they will not be able to join their power engineering course in Belarus.
A master’s in Belarus is offered for two years in the field of power engineering, and all foreign nationals should have a bachelor’s degree with them for admission to any university in Belarus.
SENDING ADMISSION DOCUMENTS FOR STUDYING AT TECHNICAL UNIVERSITIES IN BELARUS
The admissions staff always recommends foreign applicants use the internet to send their required admission documents to study power engineering in Belarus.
The admission documents differ with respect to applying for a course in power engineering, so foreign applicants first read the applying requirements at the degree levels mentioned above.
Please note that to be admitted for a bachelor’s degree at any university in Belarus, nationals of India and Pakistan must present their 10+2 college certificate copy, and this requirement applies mostly to Asian applicants.
While scanning the documents in the email of admissions staff for eligibility assessment, foreign applicants should make sure that the scanned admission copies are well visible and readable properly.
Once these admission documents are received in the email of admissions staff to study power engineering at any engineering university in Belarus, the admissions staff starts evaluating the qualifications of the foreign applicants, and this process is completed within two days.
After the assessment of the admission documents, every foreign applicant is sent an email informing him or her of their admission result.
HOW OFFICIAL STUDY INVITATIONS ARE ISSUED FOR STUDYING IN BELARUS
Once an admission result email is received by the foreign applicant, every eligible international applicant is asked to send his or her admission fee and scan the admission fee receipt in the email of the admissions office.
Ineligible applicants are asked to provide more academic supportive documents for their admission completion because we do not want to leave any foreign applicant without admission.
Once the admission fee is received, the admissions staff sends the admission documents to the migration department for the issuance of an official study invitation. Only the migration department in Belarus approves the official study invitations for foreign nationals.
This official study invitation is required by every foreign national to process a Belarus student visa, no matter whether this Belarus study visa is issued before arrival or on arrival.
Nationals from Nigeria, Egypt, India, Kenya, South Africa, and Pakistan are required to obtain their Belarus student visa before arrival, as embassies of Belarus are located in these countries, but these nationals may also obtain visas on arrival.
The rest of the Asian and African nationals are issued a Belarus student visa on arrival at Minsk International Airport with an official study invitation and an OK-TO-BOARD for departure from the country’s airport.
