Official study invitations in Belarus are approved by the migration department, not by the colleges or universities.

Once the admission fee transfer slip is received by the admissions staff, admission documents are forwarded for the issuance of an official study invitation at the migration department, and this process takes 2 weeks.

Once issued, this official admission letter from the migration department is sent to the international applicant.

Every foreign student who wants to study in Belarusian archaeology or any other course must obtain this official study invitation to enter Belarus, no matter whether he or she is issued a Belarus student visa upon arrival or before arrival.

Foreign nationals from Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, India, and Pakistan are required to obtain their Belarus study visa before arriving at the embassies of Belarus in their countries.

The rest of the applicants are issued a Belarus student visa upon arrival with the help of a study invitation from the migration department and OK TO BOARD for departure from the country airport.
