Study of Forensic Science in Belarus
Every year, many foreign students come to study forensic science in Belarus at different institutes.
WHAT QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO STUDY FORENSIC SCIENCE IN BELARUS?
Qualifications required for a bachelor in forensic science include a secondary school certificate for international students.
For foreign applicants from India and Pakistan, the qualification required to study forensic science in Belarus is a 10+2 certificate. This is due to different academic qualification systems among countries.
Forensic science is also taught for masters, and for a masters in forensic science, international and national applicants must hold a bachelor degree in forensic science with them, no matter whether they obtained it in Belarus or abroad.
WHAT IS ACTUALLY FORENSIC SCIENCE?
Forensic science is very close to the criminology program, as this degree program teaches the different methods to investigate deeply the evidence related to any criminal inquiry.
These are the forensic scientists who give results after examining the physical evidence found during any criminal case investigation, and they play a key role in different lawful organizations.
They work closely with intelligence agencies, police departments, and investigation agencies.
Sometimes, these forensic scientists conclude complicated criminal cases where theoretical investigations fail.
DEGREE LEVELS FOR FORENSIC SCIENCE IN BELARUS
A bachelor degree in forensic science consists of 4 years in Belarus, and a masters in forensic science consists of 2 years at forensic institutes in Belarus.
HOW DO I GET ADMISSION FOR FORENSIC SCIENCE IN BELARUS?
The admission process is quite simple to follow, just like all other courses, but these international applicants are required to take science subjects in their secondary school certificate.
Interested international applicants scan their secondary school certificate copy with a travel passport copy in the email of admissions staff, and these documents should be scanned in properly readable format and also be quite visible to read.
Once admissions staff receives the scanned copies of documents, they start the assessment process, which takes two days.
This assessment is based on the subjects that international applicants have studied during their secondary school education.
Once the assessment is done, the admissions staff sends an email to the applicant about his or her enrollment possibilities.
Eligible applicants send their admission fee and scan the fee receipt in the email of the admissions office for records.
Ineligible applicants are asked to send more documents for the completion of their admission process in Belarus.
WHERE ARE OFFICIAL STUDY INVITATIONS PROCESSED FOR STUDYING IN BELARUS?
Admissions for international students are approved by the migration department.
Once the admission fee is received, documents are forwarded to the migration department for the issuance of an official study invitation to study in Belarus, and this issuance process takes 2 weeks.
Once issued, this official study invitation by the migration department is sent to the applicant, as he or she requires this official study invitation for visa processing.
