A bachelor in linguistics at universities in Belarus is taught for 4 years.
A master’s in linguistics is taught for 2 years at any state university in Belarus.
WHAT QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO STUDY LINGUISTICS IN BELARUS?
As we mentioned earlier, linguistics is taught at bachelor’s and master’s levels at universities in Belarus, so all foreign students who want to study linguistics in Belarus should have passed their secondary school, as a secondary school certificate is required to study this course in Belarus.
To study master’s in linguistics, foreign students should already have a bachelor’s degree with them.
WHERE CAN I STUDY LINGUISTICS IN BELARUS?
At many state universities in Belarus, linguistics courses are offered for national and international students.
Linguistics degree holders have a wide range of job opportunities in different departments.

HOW DOES THE ADMISSION PROCESS WORK FOR STUDYING IN BELARUS?
The admissions system in Belarus is very easy to follow for any foreign student.
Interested foreign students scan their secondary school certificate with a travel passport copy in the email of admissions staff for assessment.
For masters in linguistics, foreign students are required to present a bachelor’s degree for assessment, and it does not play any role in determining from where they passed this bachelor’s degree.
The admissions staff, upon receiving the admission documents, starts the eligibility assessment process, which takes two days.
Upon completion of the eligibility assessment process, the admissions staff sends an email to all foreign applicants with their eligibility results.
Eligible foreign applicants send their admission fee and scan the admission fee transfer receipt in the email of the admissions office.
Ineligible applicants are required to scan more supportive academic documents for their admissions.
WHO APPROVES THE ADMISSIONS FOR STUDYING IN BELARUS?
Official invitation letters are approved by the migration department only in Belarus for all international students who want to study in Belarus.
This process takes two weeks at the migration department once the admissions office receives the complete admission requirements.
Once issued, this official study invitation by the migration department is sent to the international applicants, as they require it for their visa processing.
