WHERE CAN I STUDY THEOLOGY IN BELARUS?

The Belarusian theology degree is well-recognized globally, and all national and foreign students get a wide knowledge of theology while studying at one of the state universities in Belarus.

Theology degrees are offered at bachelor’s and master’s levels. A bachelor’s degree is offered for four years, while a master’s consists of two years at one of the state universities in Belarus.

All foreign or national students holding secondary school certificates may qualify for admission to any state university for their bachelor’s degree in theology.

To be admitted for a master’s degree, foreign applicants, no matter whether they are from Belarus or abroad, must hold a bachelor’s degree at the time of admission.

Medium of Instructions for Theology in Belarus

All foreign students must join preparatory faculty for 10 months before joining their theology degree in Belarus, and after completion of their preparatory course, they join their degree programs in theology, no matter their bachelor’s or master’s levels.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN BELARUS

All foreign applicants must scan their secondary school certificate with a passport copy in the email from the admissions office written below.

Master’s applicants from any country are required to scan their bachelor’s degree for eligibility assessment.

This assessment process takes two days maximum, and international applicants are informed by email about their admission eligibility or ineligibility.

Ineligible students are also notified and are asked to scan more supportive documents for the completion of their admission process in Belarus.

Internationally eligible applicants send their admission fee and scan the receipt to the admissions office in the same email that they used to send their documents.

Once the admission fee is received, their documents are forwarded to the migration department for the issuance of an official admission letter, and this letter is sent to the international applicant for their visa process.

The admissions letter issuance process at the migration department takes two weeks.

BELARUS STUDY VISA FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS

Once an international applicant receives his or her admission letter, they may depart with this letter and an OK TO BOARD letter from the country’s airport, and the visa is issued at Minsk International Airport for 110 dollars. An insurance fee of 170 euros is also to be paid at Minsk International Airport by all foreign students upon arrival.

Some foreign nationals require a Belarus student visa before arrival, and the embassies of Belarus are situated in these countries.

These countries are Nigeria, India, Egypt, Kenya, South Africa, and Pakistan, but these foreign nationals may also obtain visas on arrival.

All foreign students are strongly advised to scan their ticket 3 days before departure, as admissions staff has to prepare their reception documents for immigration at Minsk International Airport.
