Study Visual Arts in Belarus

DEGREE LEVELS FOR STUDYING VISUAL ARTS IN BELARUS

At all arts universities in Belarus, visual arts courses are offered at two degree levels.

A bachelor’s degree from any university in Belarus is offered for four years.

A master’s in Belarus in the field of visual arts is offered for two years at any arts university in Belarus.

The degree-level duration is applied to all national and foreign students in Belarus.

Qualifications Required for Studying Visual Arts in Belarus

To study visual arts in Belarus, the required qualification depends on the degree level any foreign or national student wants to study at.

To be admitted to any university in Belarus for a bachelor’s degree, all national and international students are required to have their secondary school certificate with them and also a traveling passport valid for a minimum of two years.

This above-required qualification is not applicable to Asian students, as all Asian applicants should have their 10+2 certificate with them, called intermediate.

For a master’s in Belarus, all national and international applicants should have passed their bachelor’s degree, and this applies to all national and international students.

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR STUDYING VISUAL ARTS IN BELARUS

As already mentioned above, which qualification is required to study at universities in Belarus? All foreign students scan their admission documents to admissions staff for eligibility assessment, which takes two days to be completed.

Foreign students should be sure that the scanned copies of documents are readable and visible for assessment.

Once the assessment is completed, all foreign applicants are informed by email about their admission result.

There are always two types of assessment results: eligible and ineligible.

All eligible foreign applicants are advised to send their admission fee and scan the receipt to the admissions staff for records.

Ineligible foreign applicants are asked to send more academic certificates for the completion of their admission process.

OFFICIAL STUDY INVITATIONS FOR STUDYING IN BELARUS

Upon receiving the processing fee from eligible applicants, the admissions staff sends the admission documents to the migration department for the issuance of an official study invitation, which is required by every foreign applicant for his or her Belarus student visa processing.

The migration department in Belarus has only the authority to approve admissions for foreign nationals, and universities are not concerned.

This issuance process at the migration department is completed within 14 days.

After issuance, this official study invitation is handed over to the admissions staff, and they send it to the foreign national.

BELARUS STUDENT VISA

Most Asian and African nationals are issued a Belarus study visa upon arrival at Minsk International Airport with an official study invitation by the migration department and an OK TO BOARD letter for departure from the international airport in the country of the foreign applicant.

Nationals of Nigeria, India, Egypt, Kenya, South Africa, and Pakistan are advised to obtain a Belarus student visa before arrival from the embassies of Belarus in these countries, but these foreign nationals may also obtain visas on arrival.
